Michael Keaton is an American actor producer and director most well-known for his role in the film 'Birdman. A versatile actor he is skilled in playing comedy in addition to dramatic parts. His professional career has seen him play a variety of romantic characters, and he's appeared in some action films. He was attracted to performing and acting when the age of his teens and tried his luck at stand-up comedy as an adult. It was not a successful comedy career, but it was a step for an acting career. Since he wasn't able to make it as an actor, he chose to work as a TV cameraman. In the course of working, he began to realise that he desired to appear present on camera. He then managed to land a television role and appeared in many seasons in Mister Rogers Neighborhood. He was naturally gifted and quickly became a household name on television. After establishing a successful movie career, his comedic performance earned him lots of attention. His fame grew by playing the titular superhero from Tim Burton's Batman. As time passed, his acting skills improved and he began to explore production and directing. He was awarded numerous awards and nominations for his performances in the film Birdman.
